What are the differences between two places? Does your companion see the same qualities of a chosen site as you? These barometers are a tool to assess and compare the qualities of different places. They help naming specifics and distinctions, and they facilitate the exchange of ideas and opinions between different people.

Each barometer consists of four axes marked with zero at their centre and ten at each end. At the ends of each axis are opposite terms. Classify the place where you are and mark two crosses on each axis. Connect your crosses with lines and fill the area between them. Now you can compare your assessment diagrams to those of someone else, or to those of a different place.

If you make a duplex print and cut along the marked lines, you get a little booklet.
